IT - Computer Support Specialist

Achieve a satisfying balance with a career that lets you work with people and computers. A computer support specialist is a problem-solver with a technical background in hardware, software, network maintenance, and networks. A good listener with an arsenal of problem-solving skills, technical manuals, and knowledge of computers, you will help customers resolve issues and restore productivity. You may also be charged with selecting hardware and software, managing a Local Area Network (LAN), maintaining a support ticket tracking system, and training employees. Along with technical skills, you ll be refining your people skills with special attention paid to listening, teamwork, ethics, and communication. PLEASE NOTE:

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
